State Champs Crowned!

District 5 has been busy!

Over the weekend, District 5 played host to the New Mexico Senior Baseball State tournament and the Intermediate Baseball tournaments.

Over at Lobo Little League, there were wight games played in three days ending with the Noon Optimist Little League from Roswell taking the banner and heading to Houston for the Southwest Regional tournament!
While at Roadrunner Little League the Senior Division battled it out with 11 games between Friday's opening round and Monday's Championship. When the dust settled, Copper Little League took home the title. They will head to San Antonio to represent New Mexico in the Southwest Regional tournament!

We wish both these teams (and all the other state champs) loads of luck in the regional tournaments as they represent New Mexico!
