Little League Road Show

Calling all Little League Board members and volunteers.  Little League International will be hosting a Road Show at SY Jackson Elementary School on January 7th, 2012 from 8:30 – 3:00 PM.

SY Jackson Elementary is located across Montgomery from Eldorado High School on Cairo Drive NE. (Eldorado High School is at the Southeast corner of Juan Tabo and Montgomery.)

Cody Ross UNM Fundraiser

Cody Ross is coming to Albuquerque on Friday, January 28.  There is a banquet at Ladera Golf Course on the West Side that evening.  Cody will be talking to the attendees on his experiences and successes.  All proceeds benefit UNM baseball. Please see atttached flyer for more information.

 Cody will also be at the Radisson at I-40 and Carlisle at 11 am on Saturday to meet and greet Little Leaguers.  Cody will be honored that afternoon at the UNM-BYU basketball game during halftime.

 If you aren’t familiar with his story, he is from Carlsbad and played in the Little League program.  He was the MVP of the NLCS this year for the San Francisco Giants and was instrumental in their World Series win.

District 5 & UNM 2011 Coach/Player Baseball Skills Camp

Get ready for Little League or High School baseball tryouts and the 2011 season with our exclusive camps. UNM coaches and players will be providing professional level instruction. The fundamentals of hitting, throwing, base running, and much more will be covered. There will also be a special presentation by UNM head  baseball coach Ray Birmingham at the Coach Clinic.

District 5 Rules Clinic

Bill Hendrick, District 5 Chief Umpire, will be holding a Rules Clinic this Saturday, March 28th at 9:00 AM at Armijo Elementary School (1440 Gatewood SW.)  Everyone is invited to attend. There is no charge for this event.
