UNM Softball Summer Camps
Posted on May 9th, 2011 No commentsHead Coach Erica Beach would like to announce the 2011 Summer Camp schedule at the University of New Mexico. Several camps will be offered suitable for all ages and skill levels. Areas of offense, defense, hitting and other skills will be covered during the sessions. All camps will be run by the UNM coaching staff which includes head Coach Erica Beach and assistant coaches Christi Musser and Lyndsey Angus. May President’s Meeting – DA Election
Posted on April 27th, 2011 No commentsThe May District 5 President’s meeting will be held May 3rd at the Roadrunner Little League Board room at 6:30 PM.
- An election will be held for the next District 5 Administrator 3 year term.
- Boundary maps and signed written boundary descriptions must be brought to the meeting by all president’s. There are still discrepancies with some leagues as to their borders.
- Leagues that have not paid their district player dues must bring them to this meeting.

NM Little League Umpire Association – General Membership Meeting

You asked, we listened! Many of our members have expressed difficulty in being able to attend our weeknight meetings during the regular season, and have asked whether a Sunday afternoon meeting time would be possible. The answer is… absolutely!

Little League Softball Day – UNM

University of New Mexico vs. Colorado State University
Saturday, April 30th at 1:00 PMLobo Softball Field
On April 30th, the University of New Mexico would like to invite you and your Little Leaguers to attend the “Little League Softball Day.” The event will be held at the home field of the Lobos of the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, at 1:00 PM, when the Lobos take on the Rams of Colorado State University. In order to promote Little League Softball, as well as the college softball experience, Little League Baseball and Softball has worked with various colleges and universities resulting in these institutions providing a “Little League Softball Day” at the collegiate level. It is on this day that young athletes of all ages will get to experience the game of softball at its finest. They will have the complete game experience from the warm up to the game-ending play. On Game-day: - The Little League players are REQUIRED to wear their Little League uniform jersey in order to receive free admission. Parents, coaches and chaperones may pre-order game tickets for a reduced rate of $3.00 for groups of 10 or more at 505-925-5858; or pay at the gate for $5.00.

- After the game, the Lobos coaches and players invite all Little League players onto the field for a FREE 90 minute, mini clinic where Little Leaguers can learn from some of the best college coaches and players in the game. Players must complete and bring this form for participation. (Solely conducted by the Lobos and the University of New Mexico, not Little League Baseball, Incorporated or the local Little League. As such, is not covered by any Little League National insurance policy.)
